She currently has one dog at home which she adopted from a rescue in Iowa.

An avid dog lover and believer in the healing role dogs play in humans lives, she and Libby volunteer as members of the P.A.W.S. (Pets Are Wonderful Support) program through the Orange County SPCA by visiting nursing homes and resident care facilities.
